Narragansett Police Looking for Fraud Suspect

Police said a man bought gift cards using credit card info likely from a skimming device. The victim never lost possession their card.

NARRAGANSETT, RI—Narragansett detectives are asking the public to help them identify a man who allegedly committed fraud at the Rite-Aid on Woodruff Avenue recently.

Police released pictures of the suspect who came into the store on April 12 and bought two $200 Best Buy gift cards with a stolen credit card.

Police said the card holder never lost possession of the card, indicating that he or she was the victim of a card skimming device.
