Narragansett to Step Up DUI Patrols this Weekend
The BAT mobile is coming to town. If you plan on driving drunk this weekend, plan on getting arrested.
NARRAGANSETT, RI—Police will be stepping up enforcement of impaired driving laws this weekend in Narragansett.
The Narragansett Police Department is welcoming the Blood Alcohol Mobile Testing Unit, or BAT, to the town beginning Friday.
The vehicle is a mobile DUI processing center of sorts, enabling police to take photographs, breath tests and fingerprints without having to drive suspects to the police station.
