Patch Liveblog from the Division III soccer finals
Providing you information from the game, and some of the sights and sounds.
7:47 p.m. – Whew, what a game! The Mariners win it after a goal in the 56th minute by sophomore Carla Porras. I have the goal on film, and I'm working on processing that, some photos and some other videos for the site right now. It should all be up by 8:30, so keep your eyes peeled.
6:13 p.m. – After one half, we're scoreless. The styles of both teams have canceled out; both have had shots on goal, back and forth.
Narragansett had an apparent goal in the 25th minute, but it was called off by a line judge. On video replay, it looked good.

In the second half, the Mariners are going to have to keep up on the attack. They've come close to goals several times with the aggressive play, but haven't been able to hit it home.
5:09 p.m. – We're scheduled to start in about 12 minutes, plus pregame ceremonies. Both teams have taken the field for normal warm-ups, and I'm waiting to get starting line-ups from both.

Both teams seem to have about 100 people in their own section of the bleachers, plus a middle portion that is mixed. As expected, the temperature has dropped a bit, and the reserves for each team and spectators are huddling under blankets.
I'll be updating this story as I can, which most likely means at halftime, with the score and photos. Please check our Twitter account here for minute to minute score updates.
