SK Police Log: September 27, 2012

South Kingstown police arrest three men for warrants in separate incidents.

Central Falls Man Arrested for Warrant

Yerson Londono, 27, of 681 Pine St., Central Falls, was arrested at about 8:55 a.m. on Sept. 27. Police said a Sixth Division District Court warrant was out for his arrest.

According to police, an officer saw Londono driving without a seatbelt on Route 1. A traffic stop was made near the McGrath Judicial Complex turnoff.

Police said a background check revealed the warrant. Londono was also cited for the seat belt violation. A passenger in the car was given a ride to the Block Island Ferry.

Narragansett Man Arrested for Warrant

William Clifford Hazard, 44, of 56 Tupelo Trail, Narragansett, was arrested at about 9:04 p.m. on Sept. 27. Police said a Fourth Division District Court warrant was out for Hazard’s arrest.

According to police, an off-duty Narragansett police officer recognized Hazard from previous arrests, and saw him sitting at Camden’s. He informed South Kingstown police, who arrested Hazard without incident.

Richmond Man Arrested for Warrant

Courtney Taylor, 23, of 259 James Trail, Richmond, was arrested at about 12:44 a.m. on Sept. 27. Police said a Westerly police warrant was issued on July 4 for Taylor’s arrest for traffic incidents.

According to police, an officer ran the plate of Taylor’s car, which revealed the warrant. A traffic stop was made on Kingstown Road near South County Trail.

Police said the driver was confirmed to be Taylor, and she was arrested without incident. Westerly police picked her up at about 1:45 a.m.
