SK Police Log: September 3, 2012
Police make several minor arrests, for warrants and a suspended license.

Cumberland Man Arrested for Warrant
Robert L. Young, 28, of 79 Meadowcrest Drive, Cumberland, was arrested at about 12:05 a.m. on Sept. 3. Police said a Sixth Division District Court warrant was out for his arrest.

According to police, they received a report of a disturbance at an apartment on Card’s Pond Road. A family member of Young told police that he was intoxicated and upset.
Police said that a background check of Young revealed the warrant for his arrest. He was arrested without incident and transferred to the ACI at about 4:30 a.m.

South Kingstown Man Arrested for Warrant
Christopher Perrotta, 21, of 2179 Ministerial Road, South Kingstown, was arrested at about 9:42 p.m. on Sept. 3. Police said a Fourth Division District Court warrant was out for his arrest.
According to police, they made a traffic stop on Main Street because a car was tailgating. Perrotta was a passenger in the car, and a background check revealed the warrant, which was issued on April 30.
Perrotta was arrested without incident, and held overnight for arraignment the next morning. The driver was allowed to drive from the scene.
Journal Deliverywoman Charged With License Violation
Barbara J. McCrave, 60, of 22 Sakonnet Boulevard, Narragansett, was arrested at about 3:08 a.m. on Sept. 3 and charged with driving with a suspended license. Police said McCrave is a paper delivery driver with The Providence Journal.
According to police, an officer noted McCrave swerving on Route 1 near the South County Commons. A traffic stop was made near Arrow Head Trail.
A background check revealed that McCrave’s license was suspended. She was arrested without incident, processed at headquarters and then released at about 4:25 a.m.
