Monday, May 28 is Memorial Day, a national holiday.

RIPTA's holiday schedule will be in effect.
Here's a roundup of what's closed (and what will be open) on Monday, May 28.

Open
Most businesses will be open, but it's not a bad idea to call ahead before heading out to a restaurant or shop. Liquor stores in Rhode Island are open. (They're closed in Massachusetts, though.) Some businesses may be offering discounts to veterans or active-duty military, so if you've served, bring your military ID with you.
