Coast Guard: Catamaran Capsizes Off Beavertail
A catamaran capsized off Beavertail State Park around 1 p.m. Saturday. No one was hurt. The Coast Guard also rescued a disabled boat.

NEWPORT, RI — A catamaran capsized off Beavertail State Park around 1 p.m. Saturday. No one was hurt. The Coast Guard and Marine Task Force responded. The Coast Guard said the catamaran was part of a regatta. An update is coming, the Coast Guard said.
