Coast Guard Searches Near Rose Island
Fishermen reported a drifting kayak on Wednesday morning, and a search was conducted.
NEWPORT, RI — The Coast Guard and Narragansett Bay Marine Task Force searched near Rose Island on Wednesday morning for a possibly missing kayaker. According to the Coast Guard, fishermen on Wednesday morning reported a kayak adrift. Petty Ofc. Amber Howie said search started at 8 a.m. and ended at noon.
No one was found.
