Festival Field Resident Charged With Giving A Girl Liquor
Edgar J. Cordero, 20, of Festival Field apartments is accused of giving liquor to an underage female who was visiting in his apartment.
NEWPORT, RI — Police are investigating an incident that happened Saturday around 3:29 a.m. at Festival Field apartments. Edgar J. Cordero, 20, allegedly was entertaining an underage female in his apartment and gave her two or three shots of liquor. He was arrested at 11:30 a.m. Saturday. Cordero is being charged with procuring alcohol for a minor. However, the investigation is continuing, Lt. Frank Rosa said. Additional charges may be pending.
