Happy Postscript To St. Patrick's Day Parade For Firefighter

NEWPORT, RI — One Fall River, Mass., firefighter had a good reason to change his Facebook cover photo. Lt. Brian Platt wanted to thank everyone who helped him get his hat back after a young woman swiped it in Newport. Platt told Newport police the theft happened after the parade, and he wanted his dress hat back because it had sentimental value. But he also said he just wanted it back: "no questions asked." He succeeded, according to his post.
