More Than A Foot Falls In RI: Snow Totals, Wind Speeds So Far
Warren had the highest accumulation so far, with 14 inches recorded at noon.

PROVIDENCE, RI — Rhode Island is in the thick of its worst winter storm of the year so far, with high winds, heavy snow and blizzard conditions. As of early afternoon, more than a foot of snow was measured in parts of the state, with more accumulation expected throughout the rest of the day.
As of noon, Warren had the highest snow accumulation, with 14 inches on record. Unsurprisingly, the greatest wind speeds were along the Block Island jetty, which clocked gusts of 72 mph around 10:30 a.m.
