Newport Attractions Offering Free Entry For Hospitality Workers, Residents

NEWPORT, RI — More than a dozen attractions around Newport are offering free or discounted admission for Newport County residents and hospitality workers.

Fifteen local attractions in Bristol and Newport counties are offering the free admission to The Breakers, Marble House, Rosecliff, and more between Saturday and Monday. Visitors must show proof of residency or hospitality employment to receive free admission.

"Several times each year, the Preservation Society [of Newport County] invites local residents to be our guests at the mansions for free, and we are happy to extend the courtesy to people who work in the hospitality industry, which is so important to the local economy," preservation society Executive Director Trudy Coxe said. "We hope they will take advantage of this opportunity."
