Newport City Council Meets Wednesday

NEWPORT, RI — The City Council meets at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday in council chambers at City Hall. A discussion about "talking buses" is being continued from the council's March 14 meeting. The councilors also will meet as the Board of License Commissioners to deal with one liquor license renewal and two show cause hearings. One hearing involves Stoneacre Wine & Spirits.
