Newport Cops Seek ID of Cell Phone Thief

NEWPORT, RI—Newport police are investigating the theft of a cell phone from a local business and have released pictures of a female suspect in the hopes of getting a positive identification.

Police said the suspect stole the phone recently and “we know how expensive it is to replace a cell phone.”
