Newport Man's Body Identified In River Drowning In East Providence
Police say someone walking on the East Bay Bike Path discovered the 44-year-old man's body along the shoreline of the Providence River.

EAST PROVIDENCE, RI — Authorities have reportedly identified the body of a man ho was found washed ashore along a river in East Providence Thursday night.
Police told ABC 6 the man who drowned was identified as Marcus Harris, 44, of Newport.
Police said someone walking on the East Bay Bike Path discovered the body along the shoreline of the Providence River. Members of the East Providence Fire Department recovered the body from the water.
