Newport Police Log: Four Weekend Arrests
The following is based on reports from the Newport Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
Friday
- Miguel A. Perez, 25, of 46 Richter, Providence, was arrested around 3:40 p.m. on Friday, March 8, for a drug possession charge.
Saturday
- Jaron M. Monroe, 24, of 70 Carroll Ave., Newport, was arrested around 1:45 a.m. on Saturday, March 9, for a simple assault charge.
- Jay T. Monroe, 23, of 222 Maple Ave., Newport, was arrested around 2:11 a.m. on Saturday, March 9 for a simple assault charge.
- Anthony M. Bocchetti, 35, of 76 Broadway, Newport, was arrested around 6:45 p.m. on Saturday, March 9, for vandalism and disorderly conduct charges.
