Phone Repairers Accused Of Stealing, Sharing Nude Photos
Prosecutors say they've found evidence of the employees having stolen 13 people's photos and sharing them amongst each other.

MIDDLETOWN, RI — Six men are being accused of stealing and sharing nude photos they obtained at their job at an electronics store in Middletown, according to reports. The two owners and four employees of Flint Audio-Video victimized 13 people, the state attorney general's office said.
Prosecutors say that they got the photos when customers dropped off phones and computers for repair. A female employee of the store sparked the investigation by telling authorities of their alleged actions, according to a WPRI report.
The six accused are: Daniel Anton and Gary Gagne, owners; Adam Jilling, George Quintal and Terrance Roy, employees; and Geoffrey Preuit, who was later arraigned, NBC 10 reported.

"Some girls are just stupid for having that right on their computer for anyone to see when they bring it in for service," Quintal texted to Jilling, WPRI quotes court documents as saying. "Let them be stupid!" Jilling replied.
"Here is a little treat for you. I'm sending you 8 pics from the blonde girl," Quintal once texted to Roy, the report said.

All of the accused, except for Preuit, pleaded not guilty to conspiracy and accessing a computer for fraudulent purposes, reports say. They were set free on a $30,000 personal recognizance bond. Preuit was later arraigned on Thursday.
While searching Quintal's home, police say they found a flash drive with over 2,000 nude photos and videos of people they believe were Flint Audio-Video customers, the WPRI report says.
Prosecutors say there are as many as 13 victims, but only five are a part of the case as they're still within the statute of limitations.
Authorities urge anybody who thinks their photos might have been stolen by Flint Audio-Video staff is urged to call Detective Adam Houston at 401-921-8152.
