Santa's Workshop Opens in Newport This Weekend
The one-day event is Saturday, Dec. 5 from noon to 3 p.m.
Newport boys and girls can meet Santa, get a goody bag, do a craft, decorate a cookie and ride on a holiday train this Saturday at the Easton’s Beach Rotunda Ballroom.
The event on Saturday Dec. 5 costs $5 per child and it runs from noon to 3 p.m.
The annual Santa’s Workshop is presented by the Rotary Club and sponsored by the Newport Recreation Department and is just one of a slew of festive events held through December in Newport as part of the Christmas in Newport citywide celebration.
