<p>Seven talented Newport public school students were accepted into the Rhode Island Music Educator's All-State Ensembles. <br /> <br />The student musicians will participate in several rehearsals throughout  the winter culminating in a performance of all groups on March 23 at Veteran's Auditorium in Providence.<br /><br /></p><h2>Thompson Middle School</h2>• Owen Martin, grade 8 – Junior Orchestra<br />• Mathilde Tash, grade 8 – Junior Treble Chorus<br /><br /><h2>Rogers High School</h2>• Pearl Emerson, grade 9 - Treble Chorus<br />• Michael Garvey, grade 9 – Junior Orchestra<br />• Tyler Louie, grade 12 – Senior Orchestra<br />• Lexus Almon, grade 12 – Senior Women's Chorus
