Three-Day Pavement Marking Job Began Sunday

On-street parking will be restricted overnight and lanes will be restricted as necessary.

Another round of pavement marking resumed Sunday night and there will be lane closures and restricted on-street parking on several roads overnight each night until Thursday.

Work begins at around 8 p.m. each night until 7 a.m. The city’s Department of Public Works is working with its contractor, Hi-Way Safety Systems, on the following roads:

Broadway from One-Mile Corner to Malbone Road: epoxy crosswalks;

Ruggles Avenue, Wickham Road, Brenton Road, and Harrison Avenue: bicycle sharrows;

Thames Street from Washington Square to Morton Avenue, Spring Street from Morton Avenue to Memorial Boulevard: parking stalls.
