Woman Charged After Fighting Another Woman In The Street: Police
Police charged a Newport woman with Disorderly Conduct for fighting at Queen Anne Square.

NEWPORT, RI—Two women continued an argument out on the street Wednesday morning after the doorman at Benjamin's ushered them out the restaurant's door around 12:45. Officers charged one of them with Disorderly Conduct (Fighting) after they allegedly had to be separated at the corner of Mill and Thames streets. Brittany L. Davis, 30, of Newport, allegedly was fighting with another woman, who was not identified. Two men were separating them when police arrived, but Davis continued trying to fight, police said. She was charged with Disorderly Conduct for fighting. Police took her to the station and later released her. She was given a summons for a future court date.
