North Providence Man Stole More Than $10K: Cops
The North Providence man also fraudulently obtained more than $500 in public assistance, police said.
NORTH PROVIDENCE, RI — A North Providence man stole more than $10,000, police said.
Dukenson Merisier, 37, was arrested shortly after 10:30 a.m. Wednesday and charged with obtaining more than $10,000 worth of property by false pretenses or personation and fraudulently obtaining more than $500 in public assistance, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.
"Merisier was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, where he was processed, and later transported to Third Division District Court for arraignment," the release said.
