North Providence Man Pleads Guilty To Child Pornography Production

The North Providence man uploaded 10 child pornography videos recorded at his home, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office.

PROVIDENCE, RI — A North Providence man pleaded guilty in federal court to child pornography production.

Larry Albino, 52, was scheduled to be sentenced Feb. 3.

In September 2024, a Rhode Island State Police Detective assigned to the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force received information from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that an IP address was used to upload 10 files depicting the abuse of a prepubescent child, according to a media release from the U.S. Attorney's Office.

The detective connected the IP address to Albino's home, the release said.

"Further investigation revealed that the location where the videos were recorded matched images of rooms recently displayed in an online property rental listing where Albino resides," the release said.

The day after the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children contacted the detective, the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force "executed a court-authorized search of Albino’s residence and immediately recognized that some of the furnishings of rooms inside Albino’s residence matched those depicted in the videos of child sexual abuse, and that sandals worn by the defendant at the time officers arrived matched those worn by the abuser in some of the videos," according to the release.
