1. The National Weather Service (NWS) in Taunton, MA, will be sponsoring a free, severe weather spotter training session, part of its SKYWARN program, in Portsmouth today at 7 p.m. 
2. In case you missed it, a gas pipe ruptured at a Portsmouth Elementary School yesterday.
