Applications Open For Portsmouth Town Council Vacancy

PORTSMOUTH, RI — The town is Portsmouth is accepting applications for an interim member of the town council. Interested residents can sign up through next week.

The selected candidate will fill the vacancy on the council until the election next year. To be eligible, candidates must be a registered Portsmouth voter and submit a completed application with a resume.

Applications can be downloaded from the town's website and will be accepted through noon on Oct. 1. Submit via email to clerkoffice@portsmouthri.com or mailed to Town Clerk Jennifer M. West, 2200 East Main Road, Portsmouth, RI 02871.
