Early Birds get Free Trees in Portsmouth Saturday
Thanks to the Portsmouth Tree Commission, residents can pick up a seedling at Town Hall on Saturday morning, but supplies are limited.

PORTSMOUTH, RI—Early birds will swoop by Town Hall on Saturday to collect a free tree thanks to the Portsmouth Tree Commission.
Seedlings are available for residents who stop by between 9 a.m. and noon.
Supplies are limited.

Species include black oak, eastern redbud, sugar maple and serviceberry.
