Portsmouth Bond Vote 2021: Where To Vote, What To Know
Portsmouth voters will go to the polls to approve or reject two local bonds.
PORTSMOUTH, RI — Election Day has arrived in Portsmouth, when voters will approve or reject two bond questions.
Early, in-person voting and mail-in voting has ended; voters who have not yet cast their ballot will need to go to the polls on Election Day.
Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., with four polling places open to voters.

- Precincts 2705 & 2706—Portsmouth Town Hall Council Chambers, 2200 East Main Road
- Precincts 2707—Portsmouth Middle School Gymnasium, 125 Jepson Lane
- Precincts 2708—Portsmouth Middle School Gymnasium, 125 Jepson Lane
The special election will allow voters to weigh in on two referendum questions: one for school repairs and the other for a long-term lease with the Church Community Housing Corporation to create affordable elderly housing in the town.

Superintendent Thomas Kenworthy told Patch that passing the $21.4 million school bond "makes the best overall sense to improve our schools."
