Portsmouth Police Charge 5 With Drunk Driving Over The Weekend
A fifth alleged drunk driver was arrested this past weekend, Portsmouth police said.

PORTSMOUTH, RI—Portsmouth police charged five people with drunk driving over the past weekend. Two were involved in accidents. The fifth arrest happened at 4:51 p.m. on Sunday. (Patch reported the first four earlier in this report.) John E. Peterson Duponte, 31, of Portsmouth, was charged with Driving under the influence, first offense, and cited for Refusal to submit to a chemical test after police responded to an accident on East Main Road at the Town Hall.
