CHOP Showcases Global Flavors for Segue IFL’s 15th Anniversary
Event to Feature Special Guests Viola Davis and Julius Tennon

CHOP, the culinary training restaurant in partnership with the Genesis Center, is proud to support Segue Institute for Learning’s 15th Anniversary Gala, affectionately called the "Quinceañera." This milestone event will celebrate the school's exponential growth and positive community impact.
Joining in the festivities will be Central Falls native and EGOT Award-winning actress Viola Davis and her husband Julius Tennon.
On Saturday, October 12 at the Segue Flagship campus in Central Falls, CHOP will prepare an exclusive, globally inspired menu that highlights its commitment to diverse culinary traditions.

"Segue Institute for Learning selected CHOP as our culinary partner for the anniversary gala due to a shared commitment to empowering individuals through education, cultural appreciation, and community uplift, making CHOP’s mission a natural fit for the values that Segue upholds," said Segue IFL Founder Angelo Garcia.
The event’s VIP sit-down dinner, prepared by CHOP’s team of staff, apprentices, and students, will be followed by a lively party with passed small plates. The carefully curated menu reflects CHOP’s mission of providing culinary training rooted in the cultural heritage of its students.

Menu highlights include:
- ASIA: Tuna Poke Rice Cakes (togarashi and tobiko)
- LATIN AMERICA: Mini Braised Beef Empanadas (sofrito and tajin)
- MIDDLE EAST: Warm Squash Soup with Labneh (sumac and pistachio oil)
