Come Sing 'That's Amore' at the RISPCA

By Cheryl Tudino, RISPCA Volunteer and Animal Advocate

Hi there, I’m Cheryl and I volunteer at the RISPCA shelter in Warwick by dog walking, fundraising and social media messaging. I am here to share with you a peek at your new adoptable BFF!

The Italian word for love is Amore! The RISPCA's word for love is Amora! Amora translates into the most beautiful hippo in the whole wide world! Amora loves nothing more than snuggling with her humans. She is named after love because she loves to be loved and loves to love! She can be a little nervous sometimes, so snuggling on a couch or hanging out in the yard is her happy place. Amora would love to find her furever home and finally feel the safety of love and the warmth of hugs and kisses throughout the day. Occasionally, this perfect gal will get a case of the hippo zoomies, which is pretty much just a happy little march! Amora is super smart and loves to learn new things. When she masters a trick, her smile could light up the night! This gal would do best being your only hippo to love; she would prefer not to share your love with other dogs or hippos. Amora does well with older children.

Those interested in Amore and have a couch to share, are encouraged to reach out to learn more about what makes this Amora so AMAZING and a staff favorite. I bet once you visit Ms. Amora and lay your eyes on her, you will find yourself humming, "That's Amore!"
