Mega Millions Jackpot Projected To Jump To $800 Million: Lottery

Lottery officials say the jackpot is anticipated to be the 7th highest in the game's history.

PROVIDENCE, RI — Tuesday’s Mega Millions jackpot is expected to reach the 7th highest jackpot in history, according to lottery officials.

The jackpot is anticipated to be around $800 million since no one has won it since early June, when a player in Illinois won the $552 million jackpot. Since then, there have been 27 consecutive drawings without a winner.

The one-time cash payout should increase to nearly $402 million before taxes.
