Musician Died In Mall Escalator Accident: Billboard and People
Police have released the name of the man who died after falling from the Providence Place Mall escalator.
PROVIDENCE, RI — Providence Police have identified the man who died Monday night after an accident at the Providence Place Mall. He is Joshua Martin, 45. Martin fell off the escalator into the food court and suffered a head injury, police said. The accident happened around 10:30 p.m. Police have said no foul play was involved.
Billboard and People Magazine say Martin was a guitarist for a Massachusetts group called Anal C**t. The band was described as part of the "grindcore" scene.
