Bryant Student Arrested for Dealing LSD, Pot, Possessing Cocaine

Police seized drugs and cash after a raid at the Bryant University campus on Friday morning.

SMITHFIELD, RI—A 22-year-old student at Bryant University is facing a slew of drug charges after a Friday morning dorm room raid netted LSD, marijuana and cocaine.

The Smithfield Police Department executed a search warrant in a room on Hall 3 on the Bryant campus at around 8:30 a.m., police said.

Police seized a large quantity of marijuana, LSD, cocaine, hash oil, a digital scale, packaging materials and more than $2,500 cash.

Zachary Holt, of Newton, MA, was arrested and is being charged with possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, possession of LSD with intent to deliver and cocaine possession.

Police said Holt is a suspected drug dealer and will be arraigned in Kent County District Court on May 2.

Holt is currently being held without bail.
