Burger & A Cocaine? Smithfield Police Arrest Restaurant Employee
Police said an employee at Copperfield's Burger & Beer House was also dealing drugs.

SMITHFIELD, RI—Police on Tuesday night raided Copperfield’s Burger & Beer House at 9 Cedar Swamp Road. Two people were arrested. The arrests capped a two-month long investigation into an employee who allegedly was selling cocaine at the restaurant.
The employee, Alaina C. Bonafiglia, 33, of Johnston, was charged with Possession of Cocaine w/Intent to Deliver, Possession of Cocaine, Conspiracy to Violate the Uniform Controlled Substance Act and Possession of Buprenorphine Hydrochloride and Naloxone Hydrochloride, police said.
John F. Manfredi, 39, of Providence, was charged with Possession of Cocaine w/Intent to Deliver, Possession of Cocaine, and Conspiracy to Violate the Uniform Controlled Substance Act.

Bonafiglia and Manfredi were due Wednesday in Kent County District Court to face the charges.
