Grand Jury Indicts Aaron Threats
Threats was charged by Smithfield police for an alleged home invasion on Oct. 18.

SMITHFIELD, RI—Aaron Threats, 22, of Providence, was indicted by the grand jury last week in connection with a home invasion in Smithfield. He and two other men allegedly broke into a Barnes Street home on Oct. 18 and assaulted the couple living there. Threats was arrested in Providence on Oct. 31 at 10:30 a.m. He was taken into custody on Ringgold Street, in the City, police said.
He is being charged with burglary, conspiracy, and first degree robbery, two counts on each charge, the Attorney General's Office said. He is also being charged with one count of assault with a dangerous weapon in a dwelling, one count of use of a firearm while committing a crime of violence, and one count of possession of a firearm without a license.
Threats was due back in Providence County Superior Court on April 20.
