Five things for Friday in Tiverton and Little Compton.

Weather: Today will be sunny with a slight chance of showers at night, according to the National Weather Service.
1. Tiverton youths have until Saturday to register for junior league basketball.
Registration for all children wanting to play basketball will be held at the Pocasset School Gym on Friday evening September 14, 2012 from 6:30pm until 8:00pm and on Saturday September 15, 2012 from 10:00am until 12:00pm.Â

Registration fees are $80.00 per child and $105.00 for a family.
Note: Any child registering for the first time must bring proof of age; a birth certificate or abstract.

2. A benefit banquet for the family of the late SSG Christopher Potts will be held at the Portuguese American Citizens Club in Portsmouth on Saturday from 3 - 7 p.m. Tickets cost $25Â
3. Check out Yoga with David today at the ABC Studio at Four Corners Fitness. Class cost $15 and begin at 9:30 a.m.
4. Head over to Pardon Gray Preserve on Main Road in Tiverton tomorrow and join the festivities. The 12th annual 'A Country Day at Pardon Gray' festival kicks off tomorrow at 10 a.m. and lasts through 4 p.m.Â
