5 Things To Know for Tuesday, July 23

A long time ago, we used to post a "Five Things you Need to Know Today" every day that lists five topics that matter to Tiverton-Little Compton residents.

After many months posting this every day, we stopped. Well, it's now back! 

Here's 5 things you need to know for Tuesday, July 23: 

1. The Tiverton Town Council will attend a special Planning Board meeting tonight at 7 p.m. at Tiverton Town Hall. The meeting is in regards of the TivertonCrossings/Carpionato Group, LLC Proposed Mixed-Use Major Land Development, located on the south side of Souza Road. 
   
2. The Little-Compton Beach Commission meets today at 7 p.m. at Town Hall.
3. Celebrate Tiverton is only two days away! 
4. Local Author, Peter Johnson, visits the Essex Library today at 10:30 a.m. in Tiverton. 
5. Expect rain and thunderstorms before 10 a.m. today. Grab an umbrella before you leave the house!
