Firefighters Extinguish Little Compton Fire
Nobody was injured during the fire that broke out Thursday afternoon, authorities said.

LITTLE COMPTON, RI—Firefighters responded to a fire on West Main Road on Thursday afternoon that damaged a family's home but nobody was injured.
The fire, which broke out at around 4 p.m., remains under investigation.
Little Compton Fire Chief Richard Petrin told WPRI that the fire drew a response from multiple communities to help Little Compton firefighters.

Crews dealt with a lack of fire hydrants by using multiple tankers, Petrin said.
The 1,350 square-foot house at 6 West Main Road was built in 1905, according to town property records.
