Weather: It will be warm with a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 3 p.m. High temperatures will reach 80 degrees and rain storms will continue throughout the evening,  according to the National Weather Service.
1. Newport County residents intend to gather outside Clement's Marketplce in Portsmouth to give a voice to those opposed to the Sakonnet River Bridge tolls. The protest will occur from 3-6 p.m. during the taping of WPRO's Buddy Cianci Show.
2. Blue Crabs, Minnows, Shrimp & More, join the Salt Pond Exploration on the south shore today. Learn about the history and use of the seine net. Discover what critters live in the shallow waters during this interactive program! Meet in front of The Nature Conservancy's Benjamin Family Environmental Center at 10 a.m. today.

All ages welcome with appropriate supervision. Admission is free, although there is a fee to park at the beach.
3. The Newport Children's Theatre proudly presents "Alices in Wonderland" outdoors at the Norman Bird Sanctuary. The outdoor production runs every night through Sunday at 6 p.m.Â
