Little Compton Police: Disorderly Conduct, Drunk Driving, and No Contact

Disorderly After Dark
Ethan Irons, 28, of 13 Brooks Ave., Newport, was arrested on Sunday, Aug. 26 at 1:11 a.m. and charged with disorderly conduct. According to reports, police made contact with Irons after finding him and several other individuals near Wilburs Woods on town property after hours. Irons allegedly became combative with police and was arrested and taken to police headquarters where his was booked and later arraigned.

Dara Chase, 33, of 4 Colebrook Road, Little Compton, was arrested on Sunday, Aug. 19 at 2:46 a.m. and charged with driving under the influence and refusal to submit to a chemical test. According to reports, police stopped Chase for a motor vehicle infraction when they allegedly detected that she was intoxicated. She failed a field sobriety test  and was arrested. She was arraigned and released at the station later that day.
No Contact Order Violator

Casey A. Quarry, 28, of 7 Dearborn St., Newport, was arrested on Aug. 13 at 3:40 p.m. on a Newport warrant for violating a no contact order. He was released to Newport Police later that day.
Lost & Found Camera
A resident turned a point-and-shoot style digital camera in to police on Aug. 26 at 8 p.m. The camera was found on South Shore Beach.
Argument Broken Up By Police
Police were called to Old Stone Church Road on Aug. 20 at 9:13 p.m. to disperse an argument that had erupted between three people. No arrests were made.
Threats
A resident went to police headquarters on Aug. 19 at 12:22 p.m. and reported being threatened by a man while in Middletown. The incident stems from a civil matter and a report was filed.
Stolen Laptop
A Shaw Road resident reported on Aug. 18 at 11:36 a.m. that he was missing a laptop from his home. There were no signs of forced entry and police are investigating the incident.
