NWS Issues Coastal Flood Advisory
The south coast along Rhode Island and Massachusetts should expect flooding and high winds on Tuesday night.

Strong winds and high sea swells are expected to down tree limbs and cause flooding in coastal areas across Tiverton and Little Compton on Tuesday night, according to the National Weather Service.
According the advisory, a low pressure system will move through west of the region, dragging a strong cold front through the area tonght. Resulting strong winds are expected to cause minor damage and scattered power outages across Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Swells up to 2 feet could cause flooding in coastal areas, but most roads are expected to remain passable.
While the NWS stated that there is no significant threat to life, residents should still prepare their homes and properties for minor damage and power outages.
