Obituary: Stephen M. Melidossian

Stephen M. Melidossian, formerly of Stafford Road, Tiverton, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012 at South County Hospital in Wakefield.  He was 67 years old.

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late George and Dorothy R. (Joyce) Melidossian.

Melidossian was the former owner of Mel’s Motors on Broad Street in Providence for 30 years.  He was a U.S. Army Vietnam veteran and enjoyed boating and the ocean.

He is survived by his children, Stephen S. Melidossian and Dru K. Melidossian, both of Narragansett and Kalyn W. Jahansouz and her husband Matt of New York, NY.  He was the former husband of Kay (Wall) Melidossian of Fair Haven, MI and brother of the late Toni Paraskevopoulos.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Tuesday evening at 6 p.m. in the Nardolillo Funeral Home - South County Chapel, 1111 Boston Neck Road (Rt.1A), Narragansett. Visiting hours are from 5 to 6 p.m. prior to a funeral service.
