Portsmouth Man Charged With Marijuana Distribution, LSD Possession
Tiverton Police arrested 21-year-old Christopher Edmond Bonneau, of Portsmouth, on felony drug charges.

A 21-year-old Portsmouth man faces three felony drug charges after police found marijuana, LSD and drug distribution materials in his car.
Christopher Edmond Bonneau, 21, of 159 Pear St., Portsmouth, was arrested on Aug. 23 at 9:30 a.m. and charged with three felony drug counts - manufacturing and distribution of marijuana, possession of LSD, possession of hashish.
stopped Bonneau's car because its windows were illegally tinted. Police were unable to immediately identify Bonneau as the driver because he had no license on him. As officers spoke with Bonneau, they allegedly saw rolling papers and approximately 120 clear plastic baggies with grinders attached as they spoke with Bonneau. They also allege they saw a brown bottle containing a suspicious liquid substance as they continued to speak with Bonneau.

During a subsequent search of the car, police found other paraphernalia associated with marijuana distribution, including a digital scale, a ledger, about $1,500 in cash, 22 glass containers, and a clear plastic baggie with brownish powder later determined to be hashish. Police also uncovered two tablets later identified as LSD.
Bonneau admitted to police that the brown liquid in the bottle was liquid marijuana.

Bonneau was arrested on the three felony drug counts and arraigned later that day in Second Division District Court where he was held without bail.
