WOONSOCKET, RI — Two people were hospitalized after their Woonsocket home's bedroom went up in flames Wednesday night, according to multiple reports.

The fire was reported in the second-floor bedroom at the Washington Street home, from where one resident was rescued and the other resident escaped, WPRI reported.

The rescued resident had been trapped on the home's second floor, according to WJAR.
