Arrested For Drugs, Woonsocket Man Also Faces Child Abuse Charge
Radames Roman Morales was accused of felony child abuse in January, according to the Rhode Island Judicial Portal.

WOONSOCKET, RI—The man police arrested Monday on narcotics charges and a firearms offense is the same person arrested in January for first-degree child abuse. Radames Roman Morales, 23, is being held at the Adult Correctional Institutions in Cranston.
He was accused on Jan. 19 of first-degree child abuse.
According to the Rhode Island Judicial Portal, Morales was arraigned on Feb. 2 on that felony. No plea was entered, and the case was continued until May. He was ordered not to have any contact with the victim.

In the meantime, police suspected he was dealing drugs. On Monday, his home was raided, and he was arrested. He is facing eight narcotics charges; one charge of maintaining a nuisance; and one charge of possessing a firearm. A bail hearing is set for March 27.
