• Woonsocket Woman Embezzled And Stole: Cops (patch.com) — Residents in Woonsocket are learning more about the arrest of 37-year-old Maria Peralta, who police say faces multiple financial crime charges including embezzlement, fraudulent conversion, and credit card fraud. State police report she was taken into custody Monday evening, processed, arraigned, and assigned a Third District Court date, with the case now moving into the court system.
