  1. COVID Update: Woonsocket has had a total of 6,855 COVID cases, resulting in 493 hospitalizations and 228 deaths. The city’s current vaccination rate is at 50.6% for those who completed the vaccine series. The age group with the lowest level of complete vaccinations is those between the ages of infancy to 24 years of age. (RIDOH/NRI Now)

  3. The City Council is meeting today. Among other items on the agenda are license applications and renewals. Part of this consideration is an amendment filed by Luc’s Bar & Grill for an “extension to right side of building.” Another line item deals with a legal Notice of Claim asserting that the city failed to maintain the intersection of Truman Drive at Clinton Street.
