Finally Friday: Follies Fundraiser, Music, Meals, Prize, Halloween

The weekend is upon us - check out these things to know:

 

Follies Fundraiser - The Father Marot CYO Center presents Charlie Hall's Ocean State Follies tonight at 8 p.m., with proceeds from the show going to benefit Fr. Marot CYO Center, thanks to a partnership with Catholic Financial Life District 1.

$25 - General seating in the Main Hall, doors open at 7 p.m. - Cash bar available,
light snacks.

$50 - Pre-show wine & hors d’ouevres hour at 6:30 p.m. in the search room with 
reserved seating for the Show in the Main Hall

Fun music - Today at 10:30 a.m., visit Woonsocket Harris Public Library, for Music Is Fun with Mr. Rowland. He'll be at the library to entertain children ages 6 & under and their families.

Matthew 25 Center - Matthew 25 Center of Hope is opening its winter meal site Sunday at 4 p.m. at River First United Methodist Church, 17 Federal St. Meals are open to the community.  No Identification requirements except to sign in.  During these hard times the church has chose to soften the finacial burdens of the working middle class, homeless & marginal, by offering several meals during the winter months.  

Autumnfest Button - There's still a $100 Autumnfest prize unclaimed - #1370. On Monday, a new winning number was drawn for the prize, which went unclaimed last week. 

As always, the button winner has one week to claim the prize by calling WNRI at 401-769 - 6925. A re-drawing for unclaimed button prizes will be held live on each Monday on Firing Line 1380 at 4 p.m.

Halloween Contests - Celebrate Halloween by uploading your photos to enter two contests on WoonsocketPatch:

Pumpkin Contest - Got a cool carved pumpkin or decorated gourd you're itching to show off? Upload a photo of it for a shot at a $25 gift card.
