  1. Did you know that Woonsocket has a “long-term guide for land use and development over the next 20 years?” On Wednesday, Mayor Lisa Baldelli-Hunt announced that there’s an update to it. “Many of our residents grew up in Woonsocket and worry their children won’t stay for a variety of reasons. This plan gives us the chance to have meaningful conversations about our community, tackle hard issues, and develop solutions that will ensure Woonsocket remains an attractive place to put down roots,” she noted. You can provide input on what’s important to you. (ABC)
  2. We learned last week that a cuckoo clock went missing from "Just Clocks" on Washington Street in North Attleborough. The owners took it there for repairs. When they came to reclaim it, the clock had been sold! If you bought this heirloom clock, or know who did, please reach out with the information! "I'd like to think it's an honest mistake and by getting some attention, the person that bought it in good faith will say, 'Oh geez, I didn't know,' and they'll return it," one of the clock’s owners said. 3. The Woonsocket Library is scheduling vaccination clinics with the help of the Medical Reserve Corps RI. The dates are today, February 3, 10, 17, and 24. Hours of operation will be 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. (On Worldwide)
  4. Woonsocket HS students listen up! The “Autumnfest Steering Committee said Monday that it is accepting applications for its $500 scholarship” that will benefit one graduating senior from “Woonsocket High School, Woonsocket Area Career and Technical Center, Mount Saint Charles Academy or Beacon Charter High School for the Arts.” You have until May 1 at 1 PM to apply. 5. The business of the day is Bullseye Shooting Supplies at 837 Park Avenue. The company was started four decades ago. It promises the best guns at the best prices. “Whether you're an active sports shooter, hunter or marksman, you can be sure you'll find all the supplies.” (@WoonsocketRadio, Bullseye Shooting Supplies)
