  1. The Town continues to see new cases of COVID-19 at alarming rates. It ranks just behind New Shoreham in new case rates for the third week in a row. (The Providence Journal)
  2. Mayor Lisa Baldelli-Hunt will no longer block people from her Facebook page. 3. One-hundred micro lofts might be coming to 162 Main Street. Red Brick Companies is spearheading the effort to overhaul the 1929 building that is listed in the National Register for Historic Places. However, due to the building owner’s inability to maintain the structure, it fell into disrepair. The developers believe they can use the project to revitalize Main Street and draw prospective tenants from Providence and Worcester. (The Providence Journal)
  4. Woonsocket's students went back to school! Rhode Island Governor Dan McKee said that a mask mandate will likely be extended, but he would not answer questions about mandatory teacher vaccinations. (ABC 6)
